General

  • XLNavigator is a suite of productivity add-ins for Microsoft Excel on Windows. It includes Vertical Sheet Tabs, Date-Picker Calendar, Object Explorer, and SQL Range Import — tools designed to save time and reduce frustration when working with complex workbooks.
  • XLNavigator is a COM add-in for Windows Desktop Excel, compatible with Windows 7 to 11, Excel 2007 to Office 365, and supports both 32-bit and 64-bit environments.
  • No, currently XLNavigator is only compatible with the Windows desktop version of Microsoft Excel. Web-based Excel does not support COM add-ins.
  • No. At this time, XLNavigator is compatible with Windows 7 and later only. Mac versions of Excel use a different add-in architecture that we don't currently support.
  • XLNavigator works with Excel 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, and Microsoft 365 (Office 365) on Windows. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are supported.

  • No, we don't offer refunds. However, we strongly encourage you to use the 7-day free trial to make sure XLNavigator works for your needs before purchasing.
  • Each license allows activation on up to 3 devices. This is perfect for using XLNavigator on your work computer, home computer, and laptop.
  • The All-in-One bundle includes all four add-ins (Vertical Tabs, Date-Picker, Object Explorer, and SQL Import) plus any future add-ins we release — all for one price with lifetime updates.
  • Yes, all licenses include lifetime updates. You'll receive new features and improvements at no additional cost.

Installation & Setup

  • First, close all Microsoft Office applications. Download the installer, run it, and follow the installation steps. After installation, open Excel and you'll see the XLNavigator features ready to use.
  • Close Microsoft Excel, then go to Windows Settings > Apps > Apps & Features (or Add/Remove Programs on older Windows). Find XLNavigator and click Uninstall.
  • After purchasing, you'll receive a license key via email. Open Excel, go to the XLNavigator menu, click 'Activate License', and enter your license key and email address.
  • Yes. First, deactivate the license on your old computer through the XLNavigator menu. Then install and activate on your new computer. Contact support if you need help.

Technical Questions

  • No. XLNavigator is designed for performance and has minimal impact on Excel's speed. The add-ins only activate when you use them.
  • Yes, XLNavigator works alongside your existing VBA macros without conflicts. The Object Explorer even includes VBA code generation features.
  • Absolutely. XLNavigator processes everything locally on your computer. Your spreadsheet data is never sent to external servers.
  • First, make sure Excel was closed during installation. Try restarting Excel. If still not visible, check Excel's Add-ins settings (File > Options > Add-ins) to ensure XLNavigator is enabled.
